A chic, heritage listed cottage (circa 1860)

Wild Clary Cottage is a beautiful row cottage, built in around 1860. It is a local heritage listed property and is an important example of the type of house constructed during the period of settlement.

Originally, labourers lived in these small, humble row cottages, while their wealthy pastoralist employers lived 'up the hill' in grand mansions, many of which you can see today as you stroll around North Adelaide.

The cottage has been completely updated and refreshed with a cosy and contemporary open plan design, perfect for solo travellers or couples seeking a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful, cosmopolitan location

North Adelaide is a beautiful, vibrant suburb surrounded by parklands and sporting grounds, with friendly residents and a community atmosphere.

The cottage itself is fabulously located in lower North Adelaide, just a 10 minute picturesque walk to Adelaide Oval and a little further into the city centre.  Stroll along the River Torrens, or catch the free City Connector Bus from outside the cottage into the city to visit the Adelaide Central Market, Botanical Gardens, cultural precinct or shop to your hearts content in Rundle Mall and Rundle Street.

The perfect spot to stay for the footy, cricket, WOMAD, Fringe and events in the city or just to relax in a beautiful space surrounded by character homes and a wonderful range of independent cafes, restaurants, pubs and bakeries.
