I've been lucky enough to live in North Adelaide for 15 years or so, and I absolutely love it. In fact I love it so much that I rarely leave the neighbourhood, finding everything I need and enjoy within walking distance of my home. My iced coffee, vegetarian pasty and chicken schnitzel addictions are more than satisfied in multiple locations, all within 5 minutes from my home.

I fell in love with this little cottage when I saw it for sale in April 2024. It had been short term accommodation for 20 years but was in desperate need of renovation (think bright yellow walls and embroidered floral curtains - eeek!). I was more than up to the task of refreshing and redecorating the cottage, in fact I loved it! I poured over Pinterest pages, paint colour charts and fabric stores for weeks on end, refining my choices until I settled on a contemporary, yet cosy style.

I hope you love the cottage as much as I do. If you have time, do take a stroll 'up the hill', along Le Fevre Terrace and down the many little side streets, where you'll find beautiful grand homes, small little cottages and the odd bakery! Perryman's Bakery is in Tynte Street and it's my favourite! It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage and my family have been going there for more than 50 years for pasties, pies and family birthday cakes.
