Stay in our super cute, newly renovated 1860’s row cottage in the heart of North Adelaide. The cottage is ideally located, just a picturesque 10 minute walk to Adelaide Oval and 5 minutes further to the Adelaide City Centre. This exquisite cottage, rich with heritage charm, has been thoughtfully updated with a neutral palette throughout, to create a serene and stylish atmosphere. It's the perfect accommodation for those visiting Adelaide Oval for the footy or cricket or event lovers like WOMAD and the Adelaide Festival Fringe.

A cosy and contemporary open-plan design connects the living, dining and relaxation spaces. A gourmet kitchenette with cooktop, oven, dishwasher and full size fridge, provides a functional space for those who love to cook and the nearby upholstered bench seat offers a prime location to keep the cook company, read a book or relax and enjoy a wine before dinner. And for those who need to work remotely, a small timber desk with a lamp provides a convenient workspace in the cosy living area, next to a lovely decorative  fireplace.

Ideal for solo travellers or couples seeking a cosy getaway in North Adelaide, the serene bedroom features a queen size bed where plush furnishings and high-quality linens promise restful nights. The adjacent freshly renovated bathroom includes a brand new deep bath with overhead rain showerhead, plush towels and French doors opening into a private courtyard, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. All of your laundry needs are taken care of with the washer and dryer in our private courtyard.

PARKING PERMIT

All bookings include complimentary use of a local area Parking Permit, allowing 24 hour free parking at the front of the cottage and in designated adjacent side streets in North Adelaide. Whilst parking is not guaranteed, there are also ample 2-3 hour parks surrounding the cottage and a fee based car park in Jerningham Street itself.

NORTH ADELAIDE STYLE

The neighbourhood itself is a delightful mix of historical and contemporary influences. Stroll through the streets of North Adelaide lined with heritage cottages and grand homes, or explore the nearby cafes, bakeries, pubs, restaurants and parklands. The wonderful Old Lion Hotel is directly across the road, so you can meander across for a relaxing morning coffee and pastry or a enjoy a glass of wine and music on a Friday evening. Stroll a little further to Melbourne Street or O'Connell Street and you'll find an abundance of cafes, pubs, and restaurants.

The cottage is also super close to Adelaide Oval so it you're visiting for the footy or cricket, the location is perfect. The Adelaide Parklands are adjacent the cottage and walking distance to WOMAD and many venues for the Adelaide Festival and Fringe.
